As high school sweethearts who have been partners for sixteen years—more than half our lives—we've learned a thing or two about enduring love. Having navigated teenage angst, careers, and parenthood together, we pour many hard-learned lessons straight into high-stakes romantasy.
By combining authentic male and female perspectives, we explore the thrill of the "slow-burn" and the reality of the "ever after." We believe in writing earned, unconditional romance built on communication and trust—the kind of love that grows hotter with time. When we aren't writing, you can find us at a park wrangling two toddler boys and a beagle, or indulging in our shared obsession with college sports.

I operate as the emotional compass, the lore artificer, and the ultimate #1 Alpha reader. I’m the voice behind Nyx and Lyra, ensuring the dialogue stays sharp and the emotional beats hit exactly where they need to.
By day, I am a coffee-fueled 8th-grade ELA teacher. I hold a Master’s Degree in Education, have survived a decade in the middle school trenches, and was even named Teacher of the Year for 2025–2026! (Turns out, managing the daily chaos of 8th graders is the perfect training ground for writing a brutal, high-stakes magical academy.)
When I’m not grading papers or brainstorming how to emotionally destroy our characters, I am a contemporary romance junkie and a developing romantasy nerd. My ultimate fictional hall pass is Luther from Spark of the Everflame, and I make zero apologies for it. (Jackson can watch—if he stays quiet.)
I’m a proud graduate of Texas A&M—which means Saturdays in the fall are strictly reserved for Aggie football.
The #1 Rule in our house: Do not touch my planner. Seriously. Don't do it.

Resident world-builder, plot architect, and banter specialist. I handle the POVs for Ryke, Veynä, plus dialogue for various side characters. (For the record, Azryth—Lord of the Iris Moon—provides his own dialogue. I’m just the guy typing it out.)
My literary roots are heavily planted in traditional fantasy, Michael Crichton thrillers, and Tom Clancy novels. I’m also a closeted anime enjoyer, provided Morgan isn't ever in earshot when I watch it. When it comes to romantasy, I only read Fourth Wing for Xaden—I don't really care if anyone else survives. (Your move, Rebecca.)
I hold a Business degree from Texas A&M, where Morgan and I shared our college experience. I’ve spent a decade working at Macy’s, which accidentally turned me into a casual fashionista.
When I’m away from the keyboard, I’m a lifelong gamer, an avid runner, and an Eagle Scout.
My ultimate marriage hack: Letting Morgan have total control of the plans, and making sure I only talk “nerdy” to her shirtless—with a backwards hat for extra protection.
